Ranger Smith Salutes Our Troops
Army Reserve - 103 ESC
July 26, 2010
Recently the Rec. Staff at Jellystone Warrens planned an activity which went international.
One of the projects for the 4th of July weekend was to create a flag to send to one of our local Army Reserve units.
The 103rd ESC (Expeditionary Sustainment Command) is currently
deployed in Iraq when they received the flag along with hand-made cards.
It started with a simple idea, a white sheet, red and blue paint and a lot of support from Yogi's guests.
About 40 guests came to add their support by covering their hands or feet with either red or blue paint, then placed their permament mark on a piece of history.
Once the paint was washed off, many guests stayed and made a card to thank our troops for their dedication and service.
Yogi and his staff would like to hear from anyone
that played a role in creating this flag.
Simply to go our facebook page were
Staff Sergeant Gandy posted the picture of the flag with his thank you note and add your comment.
